Children and adolescents psychotherapy

Therapeutic help destined for children and adolescents consist in supporting then in better understanding their feelings, needs and situations emerging during their development process. The psychotherapy is conducted with cooperation from the parents. For the youngest children, we offer diagnostic help, psychological consultations and systemic psychotherapy for the whole family. Individual psychotherapy for children is possible after 14 year of age.


We inform, that according to the law, consultation of a minor (18 years of age and less) is only possible with written consent of the parent or legal guardians of the minor. Documents (ID and documents confirming exercising legal guard) are required. For children living in child care institutions, written consent from the Guardianship court is required.


Children and adolescents psychotherapy is helpful for:

  • Developmental problems
  • Children experiencing divorce of the parents
  • Troubles with social interactions (at school, in the family, among peers)
  • Problems related to anxiety (school or social phobia, panic attacks)
  • Eating disorders
  • Problems related to aggression and rebellion (skipping school, refusing to study and going to school, aggressive behavior, anger spurts)
  • Troubles related to school tasks

She attended a Cognitive-behavioral Psychotherapy course at the Warsaw CBT School and is presently attending a 4-year Systemic Psychotherapy course at the Family sychotherapy Unit at the Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow
